"For those who may be considering yoga teacher training... I highly recommend this program! The lead instructors are so knowledgeable and go deep into both theory and application. Not to mention the strong relationships that were formed with my YTT peers- "Omies for Life"!! It is a truly magical experience!" - Melissa Alton

Restorative Yoga with Jess Rockwell • Sunday, October 21st • 4:00 - 5:30 pm

JessRockwell1.jpeg

In our restorative yoga practice we slow down, we greet ourselves warmly and we support our bodies fully. We all have patterns of habitual tension accumulated over time that we carry throughout our lives. Restorative yoga aims to create a space where we can start to undo this

tension and create a space where our bodies can begin to switch from our Sympathetic Nervous System (Fight or Flight) to our Para Sympathetic Nervous System (Rest and Digest). We then begin to heal from the inside out. The practice begins with a short gentle vinyasa warm up and guided meditation then moves into restorative postures. $35. pp

Yoga Nidra with Live Drumming Sunday, October 28 - 4:00 pm

Join Twink and Newtown drummer, Kristin Roberts, for a powerful Nidra experience. The healing benefits of yoga nidra are profound and cumulative. Add in the ethereal hang drum and you will be transported into a deeply restorative state. Cultivating these relaxed states leads to better health - both physical and mental. Blocks to healing are dissolved and the body "remembers" how to heal. In her quest to be of service to others, Kristin has studied various healing paths, holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and is a yoga instructor. Her deepest loves and greatest teachers are plants and music. Kristin has studied many instruments and finds great joy in sharing the healing benefits of music and drumming. Bring a friend to this special nidra! $20 pp/ two for $30.
