Lynda Weber |
Lynda started practicing yoga in 1997. Despite the demands of two young children, she has practiced nearly everyday since, attended countless workshops, and studied with many prominent teachers, including Todd Norian, Beryl Bender Birch and David Swanson.
Lynda moved to Newtown over three years ago and created Yoga Dimensions to share her passion for yoga with her new community. The studio has grown out of Lynda's needs and desires as a student of yoga. The quality of instruction and attention to detail, as well as the caring and supportive atmosphere are the culmination of Lynda's vision of the perfect yoga experience.
Lynda invites everyone to share and contribute to the group energy and community that defines Yoga Dimensions as Newtown's premiere yoga studio. |

Drema Lindie |
Drema has been Instructing Hatha Yoga classes for 10 years. She received her Integral Yoga Institute Certification in 1997. Drema has and will always remain a student of Yoga. Through continuing study and self exploration, her teaching has grown into an eclectic style. The class format is specifically designed to compliment the collective energy of the group, so you can count on a unique experience each time.
Drema’s Yoga class is a rejuvenation of your whole being—body, mind, and spirit. The class begins with attention to alignment and foundation, so that there is a safe space for the body to play and find expression. As you shift through the poses you will be encouraged to keep coming back to the breath. This is an exercise for the mind; allowing you to experience present time. The journey ends with learning the art of deep relaxation as you are guided, by Drema, to get in touch with your state of inner calm.

Kate Perchuk |
Kate has been studying and practicing yoga in New York and Connecticut for the past five years, exploring various styles including Kripalu, Astanga, Anusara, Kundalini and Vinyasa. Her love of the practice led her to pursue her teacher’s certification, which she completed in 2006. Kate’s approach to yoga is rooted in the principles of alignment and the integration of breath and movement, and realized through the grace and flow of yogic thought and vinyasa choreography.
In her classes, Kate offers a unique ride on the transformative wave of Vinyasa, with a dynamic, engaging practice designed to stimulate wholeness by bringing the fluid body into balance with the vibrating world. Combining graceful, energetic movement with breathwork and centering strategies, Kate’s Vinyasa practice cultivates physical vigor and precision, mental energy and clarity, increased strength and flexibility, and restored balance. Kate considers her practice, as her life, a process of constant study, an invigorating path without a goal on which she has gratefully encountered many teachers. |
